Nastia Liukin to Receive Special Alumni Dedication at Spring Creek Academy Open House

Karen Morrell, Director of Spring Creek Academy, has announced that the specialized school will honor 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2007 graduate of Spring Creek Academy Nastia Liukin by dedicating a building to her.

Karen Morrell, Director of Spring Creek Academy, has announced that the school for the Gifted, Talented, and Highly Motivated, will honor former student Nastia Liukin. A newly constructed gazebo on the Spring Creek Academy property located at 6000 Custer Road in Plano will be dedicated in Nastia's honor on Sunday, the 8th at 3:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join the students, staff and friends of Nastia for the gazebo dedication and concurrent school Open House.

"Spring Creek Academy is pleased to make this dedication to honor Nastia's outstanding achievement at the Olympics as well as in the classroom," said Morrell. "Nastia is a wonderful role model to our students, many of whom are upcoming gymnasts as well."
